Snowpack and Weather Summary:

Recent snowpack analyses have shown a consistent increase in the overall strength of the snowpack, yet the general poor structure of the snowpack remains. This poor structure is marked by weak layers that formed during December and January located in the mid to lower portions of the snowpack.

After a respite today, active weather returns tonight and will remain over the area through the weekend. During the day on both Saturday and Sunday expect precipitation to fall as rain before transitioning to snow each evening. Precipitation will peak in intensity on Sunday afternoon before slowly decreasing through the evening.
