Weather and Snowpack Summary:

The snowpack has delt with several changes during the past week, including rain, snow and a melt freeze cycle during the past 72 hours. The base of the snowpack is still comprised of a week structure, while the overlying slab continues to gain strength due to the changes noted above.

A melt freeze cycle will continue through the better part of the weekend, before snow returns to the area in the late evening on Sunday February 25th. The forecasted storm may bring heavy winds and precipitation through the early part of the week and may lead to road closure recommendations.
