Avalanche Forecast:

Avalanche activity above the road MAY OCCUR. Resulting avalanche debris reaching the road grade is POSSIBLE but NOT LIKELY.

Travel Advisory:

Through travel only in the JC Road corridor, do not stop vehicles.

It is recommended that any person operating equipment in the corridor wear an avalanche transceiver and have access to rescue equipment.

Weather and Snowpack Summary:

The snow from this past weekend is bonding moderately well to the old snow surface, while the weaker basal snow is slowly adjusting to the new load.

Intermittent snow is forecasted through the week with the highest amounts having already occurred last night. Daytime temperatures will slowly warm through the week, while nighttime temperatures will still be below freezing.
