Weather and Snowpack Summary:

Currently the snowpack in the JC Road corridor can be described as isothermal after undergoing multiple melt freeze cycles. This has created a uniform and cohesive snowpack, though weak layers in the snowpack remain as was shown in snow stability test performed on Friday April 19th.

Precipitation returns to the area late Wednesday night as light snow, before transitioning to rain Thursday morning. This weather system may linger over the area into Friday.
